transforming the illusion of limitation

coloring the light that is our source

we are rich of spirit

this is the bounty of harvest

this is the banquet upon the living waters

drink from my mouth

hear what i'm bringing through

this our legecy of faith

walking bravely the spaces

sometimes eclipsed by the hunger of neid

sometimes swallowed by our greed

i'll spend the hours in supplication

praying only for our truth

my blood sings of tides, of union

and when i struggle
like a fish out of water

when i falter the connection

you must forgive me my suffering

must forgive my pierced heart

knowing, knowing i will find a way

trusting my soul to stand on its own

i remain a sanctuary, a companion

though i'd walk the path of you breathlessly

lay down my body a bridge

lay down this body, the starry sky

softly, silently, we travel together

i bend, as an Angel, to kiss the child in you sleeping

i arch, as a lover, to meet the man in you with freedom

i dream, as a sister, to clear the way for your destiny

working endlessly the tapestry, weaving finely the strands

this is devotion, this is the Scarlet Path...
